Use your cover as a “call to action”

Since the cover image is the most exciting of the new features, make it work for you and encourage the user to make the effort to like your page. Be creative!

Work the Timeline

Content is king, right? As always, make your posts interesting and full of information. Without the roadblock-formerly-known-as the default landing page, your awesome content will be the first thing users see when they stumble upon your page. Make it worth coming back for.

Don’t sweat the numbers

As a marketer, this one is always a little difficult to admit. Isn’t it our job to get the entire universe to like your page? That would be nice, but you really need the RIGHT people to like your page and there you have your captive audience. As Nickelback can tell you, it’s about quality, not quantity.
